Como o aquário é de 125 litros, eu inicialmente ligava só uma hora por dia no valor mínimo e via os resultados e depois aumentava lentamente o tempo de funcionamento para duas horas, depois três, etc...até ao máximo de 8 horas por dia. Infelizmente quanto ao valor máximo de ozono que pode levar o teu escumador não te posso ajudar mas como referência, o meu é de 50mg/h(Deltec APF 800). O problema é que muitas vezes o acrílico do corpo do escumador se não for de qualidade, com o tempo pode estalar.

"I Ozone and have asked for advice on this very forum and got some great advice which has actually worked for me. I inject O3 into my tank via my BM NAC7 Skimmer. Up untill a few days ago i had the "O3" smell in my living room, but the advice i got was to block 4 of the six holes in the skimmer lid then place a bag of Carbon over the other 2 open holes.....Works a treat, NO SMELL, so no O3 leakage. I let my controller and probe control the dosage and can allways see the level in my tank.

I know a lot of peps on here ozone without a probe, but i would never put ANYTHING into my tank without measuring it first!"

 

"Ozone is amazing, I had a unit but removed it as my skimmer wasn't up to the job. Now I have a Bubble Magus NAC7 I want to re-introduce it again ... the benefits where outstanding, I was only cleaning my glass once a week, I had reduced algae, the skimmer produces thicker, darker skimmate more frequently, water was crisp and clear with no yellow tinge and I never had a sign of any white spot or parasites ... unsure if its related but seems a bit spooky, but 2 days after removing the ozone my powder blue got a stomache parasite, got pinch belly and died!!

 

I 100% recommend ozone to anyone and as long as you run per instructions its harmless ..."

Após 26 dias desde início da montagem do meu aquário, fiz os testes (pack Aquili) e eis os resultados:

 

PH - 8

Temperatura - 25

Salinidade - 1022

Nitritos (N02) - 0

Nitratos (N03) - entre 0 e 5 mg/l

KH - 10 (grau de dureza carbonatada alemã)

GH - > 160 gotas (grau de dureza carbonatada alemã)

 

Este pack não vinha com o teste da Amónia, nem com o do cálcio, nem o de magnésio (tenho de comprar), já fiz 3 mudas de água de 10% desde o início e apenas tenho 10 ermitas e 10 Nassarius. O que acham dos resultados? Estou em condições de avançar para um casal de palhaços e corais?
