AGA contest 2010

Fellow Aquascapers,

 

With little over a month until the close of the 2010 AGA International Aquascaping Contest, it’s time to get those tanks pruned and ready for pictures. It looks to be another record year for entries and we are all looking forward to presenting the award winning aquascapes at our convention in Ft. Lauderdale this November. The submisssion of entries has already started. There is still time to get those aquascapes in photo ready condition and get your aquascape entered in the original international aquascaping contest. But don't wait too long, the September 25th deadline is fast approaching!

 

Speaking of the convention, although there is still over two months to register, space to register for the Florida Aquatic Nursery tour and the Tissue Culture workshop is limited. Be sure to register early to reserve your spot for these very cool activities. In addition to the tour and workshop, this year’s speaker lineup will again be superb and include talks from Claus Christensen, Ghazanfar Ghori, Dr. Mike Kane, and Jason Baliban. Another "can't miss" is the Aquarium Design Group sponsored "Third AGA Iron Aquascaper" competition.

 

So, don’t miss out on what could be the best AGA Convention to date! Register early and plan for a few extra days. Then, come November, you can leave behind the cold rain and snow and enjoy Florida's balmy subtropical sunshine.

Como podem ver o concurso está aberto e de saúde!

Irão organizar pela primeira vez uma "party", embora seja muito difícil sequer tentarem competir com as do IAPLC.

 

E quanto a nós? Quem vai a jogo?

 

Eu irei se tiver aquário, isto é: se nos próximos 15 dias não fechar o tapete

Infelizmente não vou poder participar porque o aquário não está da maneira que quero. : /

Realmente gostaria de participar, mas difícilmente o farei, tenho ali um aquário mínimamente decente, mas tem algumas filamentosas, e ainda tem de desenvolver muita coisa, equinodorus, tapete de parvula, cryptocorynes, etc.
