Composition is good, the tank is divided in perfect ratio too. But the anubias seems a little too big for this tank. All the woods are quite similar size, if the woods on the left side can be a little bigger, it will give better depth and 3D effect. I would also prefer a little bit of HC (Cuba) on the left side too, so the overall scape look more balance. But it is a good tank in general. - Josh Sim
Everythings is good, if have some triming of the plants in between the branches are mush more better. - Dave Chow
Very good composition for a layout using driftwood, and the central space is visually effective. Hygrophila pinnatifida settled on driftwood is a little too long, which makes the layout cluttered. - Takayuki Fukada
Beautiful use of plants in such a small tank. I love the details, the plants condition and plant choice. The rocks arrangement is perfect too. One thing I would change, is the right side near to the tank glass at the background, if the plants can continue towards the tank glass, the overall scape would look better especially if we can see a little bit of reflection on the right side tank glass, the continuation would be nice. - Josh Sim
The layout are good, good composition and plants arrangement. - Dave Chow
The first impression is so amazing. However, the sand and pebbles laid in the foreground seemed a little rough, making the impression worse. I think it's better to express all other sand areas with short vegetation, leaving only the central white path. - Takayuki Fukada
Bucephalandra and Anubias seems to be too big for this tank. The foreground plants (Marsilea?) makes the tank look "new" and not matured enough. Some anubias on the right side would make the layout look more balance. - Josh Sim
The layout are interesting but please consider the shade part of the tank because it look so dark. - Dave Chow
The steep rocky mountain ideas on both sides are interesting and appreciated. However, the representation of the ground beneath the rocks feels a bit subtle. It would have been nice to have a gorge-like expression using smaller rocks. - Takayuki Fukada
Hardscape arrangement is nice, very simple but very clean and refreshing. However, the plants does not look matured to me, for a 2-3 months tank, the plants should not look like this. My guess is that the plants were just put in less than a months. A more matured plant condition would give this tank a high score. - Josh Sim
The layout are clean and good but please consider to plant more plants and it will look more better. - Dave Chow
The layout is so beautiful with a well-balanced composition, but the sure thing is that the volume of the plants is not enough. Maybe the plants in this tank have just been planted and the time has not yet passed. I look forward to this tank after a few months later. - Takayuki Fukada
Forefround that exposed a lot of soil is not a good practice. It shows that this tank is not matured. Hardscape arrangement is too "square" for me, it looks like the woods and plants form a square shape, leaving the right side too empty. - Josh Sim
I like the overall composition if the right lower part place something for example place some rock over there, it will turn to more better. - Dave Chow
In the case of this layout, it is better to open more space on the right side. There must be some expression behind the driftwood and it is not a good impression that the soil is partially exposed. - Takayuki Fukada
A simple but pleasant tank. Very Zen and very nice to look at. Plants condition is good and the reflection on the tank glass is nice too. Rock selection can be improved, rocks with more "character" and more unique should be used. The sand is too white and in future, please do not show soil mixing with sand at the fopreground. - Josh Sim
The stone arrangement are good but if the plants are grown more higher, it will be more beautiful. - Dave Chow
All plants are healthy and so beautiful. However as a layout, the space is a bit too open and I feel lonely. Make the background rocks higher, or it may improve if the stem plants are more widely spread. - Takayuki Fukada
Good tank composition with a nice dynamic flow. I feel that the Cyptocoryne and Bucephalandra can be removed, it is too big and does not match with the overall scape. These 2 plants look too "hard" as compare to the nice and softer nature of the other plants. Water level can be lower so that we can see a nicer reflection on the tank surface. - Josh Sim
I like the overall composition, but if the stone of the left hand side are much more smaller it will be more beautiful. - Dave Chow
The planting is good and the composition balance is perfect. However, all materials are evenly illuminated and there is no shadow. So if you show the shadows of the rocks, the layout impression will be better. - Takayuki Fukada
Beautiful tank. Hardscape and plants match nicely. I would prefer slightly more rocks on the right side to balance the scape. If the background of the tank can be brighter instead of the greyish background, this tank will look nicer and not so "gloomy". Water surface should be lower too when taking the photo. - Josh Sim
This layout are very good if the background are more lighter then it will be much more better. - Dave Chow
I feel the creator's skills with a carefully crafted layout with details. The only disappointment is that the picture is too dark, so in such an open space layout you need to shoot on a light background. - Takayuki Fukada
The arrangement of the wood is lacking a dynamic feel and it affects the flow. Red stem plants at the background looks messy, they need to grow more compact and have proper trimming. The Cryptocoryne looks out of place. - Josh Sim
The layout and plant condition are good, but I think there should be much more background plants at the left hand side. - Dave Chow
The production of the view of nature from the foreground to the middle is great. That's why it is very disappointing that no directing takes place in the background. Some kind of production is necessary, such as planting many stem plants. - Takayuki Fukada
A very decent tank, but the stem plant at the background needs a proper trimming and let them grow more compact. I am not too sure about the wood on the right side, it looks interesting but at the same time it looks like it does not belong to this tank. perhaps rermoving this wood and extend more rocks on the right side will be better. - Josh Sim
Overall are good but I think the Bucep. Plant are so big and it look not in scale. - Dave Chow
The rock that rises greatly in the center is characteristic and powerful. However, since this large rock can only be seen in shadows, it is better to show the part where the light hits and express it more 3-dimensionally. - Takayuki Fukada
The big rock at the center and the Anubias on the right side, are 2 major things that destroy this otherwise nice layout. The rock at the center is just out of place, the texture and shape of the rock is totally different from other rocks in this tank. Anubias on the right is simply redundant. This tank will look so much better withtout the center rock and the Anubias, what a pity. - Josh Sim
I like this layout with very good composition, plants condition and also photography. - Dave Chow
Overall a very good and balanced layout. The rock placed in the center is a cool eye-catching point. Unfortunately, there is no fish. The presence of fish will make it even more impressive. - Takayuki Fukada
The way to create the "white background" is incorrect. A white background is not meant to stick a white paper on the tank glass, it will create a "white wall" and affect the depth and 3D feeling. There must be a disctance between the tank glass and the white paper, minimum 15-20cm so that the background will look deep and clear. Scape wise, a simple but nice tank, if water level can be lower to show water reflection, this will look better. - Josh Sim
The layout are good, if the branches are much more thicker then it will be looking better. - Dave Chow
The clean and beautiful layout gives me a good impression. But to be precise, this layout is not yet complete. The background stem plants will grow more and become more beautiful when it comes to volume. - Takayuki Fukada
