MOSCOW AQUARIUM, RIO SHOPPING, MOSCOVO, RÚSSIA

At the end of October 2011 the Moscow oceanarium based in RIO trade centre on Dmitrovskoye highway finally opened its doors for visitors. More than 250,000 people have already visited the place for the past month. About 230 species of sea and fresh-water fish and other different sea creatures from various parts of the planet are represented on the territory of 3.5 square meters. Guests may walk on the glass bridges and see floating fish and sharks under their feet, feast their eyes on corals, go check the penguins and the swimming pool with the viewing platform. Moscow citizens have been waiting for this big oceanarium for a long time and finally got it. The audience may also enjoy watching crocodiles, monkeys, raccoons and parrots. The oceanarium is decorated with the sky of stars and the deck of a sunken vessel. In 2012 right after the New Year the oceanarium is going to offer its visitors a great variety of events including sea bears show and sharks feeding.
